Once both firefighters from Montgomery and Welshpool were at the scene, they used two hose reel jets and one foam lance to extinguish the fire.
Crews continued to dampen down after the fire had been extinguished.
A request was submitted to the Local Authority to inspect the area during business hours due to the extent of debris and a potential issue of fly-tipping.
Crews left the scene at 1.25am on Friday, May 3.
